This beautiful bespoke VW T2 campervan called Florence arrived with the simple brief of creating a practical, convenient and stylish space – to match the exterior – for storage and basic cooking requirements.

Creating a bespoke interior for a VW campervan presents its own set of challenges. None more so than the 1550mm x 1480mm floor space there is to work with.

The VW T2 campervan interior conversion consists of a bespoke wardrobe with three side storage sections and flap down tray. It has a solid beech worktop to create a useful space to place drinks when the roof is extended to its maximum height. The smaller unit contains a combi sink, hob and cutlery tray plus an area to store gas and water bottles. The sink unit also hides a clever flap that can be lifted up when you are outside the van and enjoying dinner.

Using a combination of solid beech and veneer beech complements the light and airy feel of the T2 campervan. The chrome hinges and handles draw reference from the exterior fixtures and fittings. All leading to a sympathetic addition to this incredible VW T2 campervan.
