This client has a lounge with an eclectic mix of modern and classic furniture and a huge treasured DVD collection. The brief was to come up with a bespoke furniture solution which was at home around the current modern and classic furniture.

Designs for two identical tall bespoke chests of drawers were proposed. These would utilise the equal vacant spaces towards the back of the lounge.

Taking inspiration from the client’s furniture collection this pair of retro storage drawers sit comfortably in the room. Each unit consists of four medium sized drawers and one larger drawer at the bottom. Each is made from solid oak using dovetail joints and spray finished in Farrow & Ball ‘Ammonite’.

The two identical chests of drawers can store upwards of 250 DVDs.
